I am so excited to announce that the nationally televised episode of ABC’s 20/20 that I did makeup and hair on aired last night. It was such a surreal experience.

The interview was done by anchor JuJu Chang and was on Melissa Moore, author and daughter of the happy face killer. Melissa has written a book on her experience and really has a heart to reach out and help others who are family members of serial killers. She is an incredibly brave and inspiring woman.

The shoot itself was a lot of fun. I got there and got to meet Melissa’s mom and her husband and did makeup on both of them for the interview as well. I was super excited to meet Good Morning America’s JuJu Chang, who is a really cool lady. We ended up having some time after lunch and we went shopping in downtown PDX. It was nice to get to know her on a more personal level.

We ended the shoot at a diner in Vancouver WA where the producer bought us all rootbear floats and onion rings. My kind of guy! :)

All in all, it was a fabulous learning experience and I feel incredibly blessed to have been a part of it. I truly love my job!
